POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the organization's sales growth through goals set by the CEO and President. This will include writing plans to achieve these goals and adhering to the required ethical standards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manage Sales Growth: Build & manage sales growth through agents, Manufacturer’s Rep Groups, distribution network, and buying group network. Annual sales target set with CEO & President and tracked on a monthly basis.
Brand Management: Improve brand awareness in designated target markets using measurable analytics
Market Research: Research markets for discovering new opportunities or building on existing business.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
• BA in business administration or related field with 3+ years of industrial sales experience, or
• 7+ years of industrial sales experience without a BA
• Marketing management experience desired
SALARY
$60,000 Base salary + monthly commission with incentives at variable times throughout the year, no cap on potential salary
OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety glasses, gloves, apron, steel-toe boots, respirator
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The industrial sales environment may include exposure to hazardous chemicals and the general warehouse environment.
